Happy Valentines Day fellow acrylic lovers! Kay here with a layout made especially for Valentine's. For this page I had the opportunity to work with two new products from Clear Scraps–the Hearts Acrylic Border & the 6" Chicken Wire mascil!
This would be my husband & I on our wedding day almost 6 years ago. This layout received it's title from the song that was playing when this photo was taken. My husband made a special request to our DJ for the song 'Your Everything' by Keith Urban & dedicated it to me. It was a surprise for me since I didn't know he was planning on doing this. This is my husband at his best. :-)

The 6" Chicken Wire mascil was placed on both corners of my page & misted with Graphite Glimmer Mist & just a hint of My Bleeding Heart Coloringz by Shimmerz .
For the Hearts Acrylic Border, I first highlighted the edges with a Sharpie Black Oil Based Paint pen. I then colored the border with a combination of Red Pepper & Silver alcohol inks. Finally, I stamped the word 'love.' onto my hearts with black Staz On ink. Always remember to use solvent inks & permanent markers when working with acrylic. Using any other kind of inks or markers will cause your work to smear.

As always, you can find more details & close ups of this page on my blog. May you all continue to enjoy the rest of Valentine's Day. Don't forget that Valentine's Day is not just for couples–it's a day to celebrate love–all kinds of love! So besides giving your special someone some extra TLC today, don't forget to share a bit of love with your family, friends & even your pets! Enjoy the rest of the week…
