Back to School layout

Hiya, Clear Scraps friends! Today I'm sharing this cute back to school layout featuring Clear Scraps 12×12 acrylic sheet, 6" Magical fairy Stencil, and the swirl acrylic border & acrylic letters and numbers.

I edged the 12×12 acrylic layout using Alcohol inks in yellow. Their school colors are yellow and green, so I tried to incorporate those colors with the stenciling in the title, the swirl border at the bottom of the page, and along the acrylic edge of the layout.

I loved the small stars on the magical fairy stencil and used washi tape to block off parts of the stencil that I didn't want to be transferred to the acrylic letters.

I used stazon ink and stenciled the stars on the front side of the acrylic numbers.

I then turned the letters over and alcohol inked the backside of the letters.

I wanted the letters to pop and was going to outline them in a sharpie marker, but the ink ran out in my marker. I decided to rub the tip of the marker on my black stazon ink and used that to transfer the ink to the edge of the acrylic letters.

Here are a could of close-ups from the layout.
