Ghost Medium DIY Pallet Shape

Hello and happy Monday! Today I'm sharing a project I  created with some new fall/Halloween themed Clear Scraps products! I  love this time of year and creating my own DIY home decor.  Using the Ghost Medium DIY Pallet Shape, I  created a fun door knob hanger! And I'm going to share the techniques I  used!

I  began by painting my pallet with black chalk paint.  You can use any paint you choose as the birch wood takes the paint in nicely.

Next, I  used the Oct 31st 4×6 Stencil with modeling paste. I  held my stencil in place with washi tape for extra security.

Before lifting my stencil and allowing the modeling paste to dry, I  sprinkled some fine sparkle glitter to the top of the paste.  I  set my pallet upright to remove any excess glitter before removing the stencil. I  also found that using a spatula to remove any excess modeling paste from in between the slats was helpful.

Here is the end result of the stencil/paste! It definitely looks more "shiny" in person and I  love how it turned out!

Last, I  used the Pumpkins Chipboard Embellishments as a cute accent to my pallet!  I  adhered patterned paper to the solid pumpkin trimming any excess with scissors.  I  then painted the 2nd pumpkin with orange chalk paint and adhered on top of the patterned paper. I  thought some Halloween colored bakers twine would be cute tied around the stem!

I  punched hole in the top of my pallet with my Crop-o-dile and threaded ribbon through so I  could hang my creation! Thanks for stopping by the blog today!  Have a great day!
