Strawberry Mini Shaker Layout

Hello friends! It's Jennifer on the blog to share another of the adorable new Mini Shaker Shapes with you from Clear Scraps!  The Mini Shakers make for perfect accents for your pages, cards, and just about any project!  I used the Strawberry Mini Shaker Shape to document one of my favorite photos of my daughter on her first birthday (mind you she turns 20 next month!).

I covered the base of my shaker with patterned paper. I  find using a liquid adhesive like Beacon 3-in-1 or Zip Dry is best as it dries quickly and will not warp your chipboard or acrylic. I painted the body of the strawberry with pink chalk paint followed by using some fun glitter green embossing powder for the stem. I finished by adding coordinating colors of chunky sequins to my shaker before assembling.

I blended some yellow Distress Oxide Ink at the top and bottom of my circles that I cut with my Silhouette.  Then using a spatula, I swiped some Crackle Paste over the top of my color using the 5×9 Circle Dots Pattern Mixer Stencil. I then adhered the coordinating chipboard letters underneath my main circle for my title and added some epoxy dots and stickers.

Another close up of the Mixer Stencil + Crackle Paste! I  love how it gives my page a little bit of dimension! You can use any of the  Clear Scraps Stencils/Mascils with ink, paint, or paste!
