Clear Scraps–Mini Shaker Circle Bats–Hey, Pumpkin LO

Hello all! Laura here with you today! Have you gotten back those Halloween photos and need some inspiration for a LO? Look no further than Clear Scraps and their wonderful Mini Shakers!

This sweet, simple LO is easy to create by layering in a few spooky pattern papers. Aside from the base piece, it could easily be done using up some scraps you have too! The pictures take center stage–matted on black cardstock, but a few well placed foam stickers add dimension and pizzazz. Better yet is the Clear Scraps Mini Shaker Bats!

This shaker is the perfect embellishment accent for this page! It looks great on any Halloween LO or project! I kept it simple by using black paint on the frame, I traced the striped paper with the solid back of the shaker, cut out, then glued on. I layered in the frame pieces, added some sparkly sequins and beads in fun, bright Halloween colors, then added the acrylic layer. I've said it many times, but I love the protective layer on both sides of this acrylic. It's easy to peel off, but it's great to keep the acrylic clean and scratch free until you are ready to finish putting together the shaker!
