Are you stumped for some handmade packaging ideas ?
I have a few fun ideas to share.
Do you like to upcycle or make boxes?
Here’s a way to create some pretty packaging without using wrapping paper.
Clear_Scraps has many stencils and chipboard_embellishments.
Today come along for some “Giftspiration” I hope you will enjoy as much as I did creating it.
All you need is a few crafty supplies and imagination.
You can purchase other fabulous Chipboard_Embellishments to fit your theme of your project.
I will be using a collection from my stash that I feel worked very well for my needs.
You can use inexpensive boxes and bags from local craft supply stores or. party favors sections in your favorite stores, to find some plain styles perfect for playing with.
Lighter colors work best.
We can see how a dark background could be an issue unless you have some specific mediums for dark backgrounds.
Stenciling paste would work very well.
I have created my Gift bag with cardstock and Metal dies cutting sets and other crafty items.

I used A Star Die cut to make the opening for a peekaboo window. I used Acetate to cover the inside of the Star window.
I did this to both sides lining up the Star to be as close to the same placement on both sides.

I used different size stars to float inside the front Star window for a “you can peak “ but can’t quite see what’s inside .
Here’s my box that I used printed paper but mostly whit background.
The yellow stenciling really pops in it.
I used stickles and a black glitter pen to add to for the and the gold stickles makes the illusion of a sparkly lights.
I used stamping inks for stenciling and to color the Lamp Posts and then a bit of mixed media to give them a more realistic feel.
I got my go to favorite mixed media mediums, and had some fun.
Here’s my 3”x 6” Skinny Minny cards
Take a 6”x6” cardstock and fold in half
One I single matted the other I went for the double mat.
The matting pieces measurement are below.
5 “7/8X 2 7/8. 5” 5/8×2”5/8
See how the lamp fits this card without too much bulk.
A larger card or mini albums definitely would work well.

Thank you so much for stopping by and …
I wish you a
Happy December Xoxo.
