The first official day of fall was just last week, and I am more than ready for cooler weather, cozy vibes, and all things autumn! 🍂 This project is a little different than my usual style—it’s much busier than I typically create—but I love how all the elements came together for a warm and festive fall-themed layout.

I started with a layout kit to build the background and photo placement, following most of the instructions provided. But of course, I couldn’t resist swapping out a few pieces for Clear Scraps embellishments to make it my own.
First, I used the pumpkin from the Fall Chipboard Embellishments pack, coloring it with blending brushes and ink pads. I love how this pumpkin design isn’t solid—it adds so much detail and dimension. I placed it in the layout where the instructions suggested using a 2×2 cut-apart element, and I think it works beautifully there.

For the title, I combined the Fall word from the same chipboard pack with a foam sticker element from the kit. To make it work, I trimmed the bottom of the foam sticker so the chipboard word could layer perfectly on top. I adhered the word “Fall” with foam adhesive for extra depth.

Finally, to finish off the title cluster, I inked two leaves from the new Maple Leaves Chipboard Embellishments pack and arranged them in the lower left corner. That little touch filled in the space perfectly and tied the design together.
I had so much fun stretching beyond my usual “clean and simple” style, and I love the result—it feels like fall on a page!
