Hi there everyone! Laura here with you today to share a home decor project that’s perfect for your patriotic celebrations this year!

I LOVE the Clear Scraps Shiplap Shapes! They are so fun to create with! You can use all sorts of mediums–paint, ink, stain, paper, stencil pastes, and so on to make the project your own!

For this project, I painted the Mason Jar Shiplap Shape Large with 2 shades of blue paint to create a bit of a distress look on the wood. To create a center focal point, I used a good size piece of patriotic patterned paper, and then it was just adding some ephemera embellishments, and twine and ribbon around the top.

Journal boxes and enamel dots add a little “pizazz” and foam tape was used to add dimension to the project as well.
