Hi there all! Laura here with you today with a fun way to capture memories for a wonderful special occasion or event!

The Clear Scraps tags are a unique way to keep and share memories! They could be put on a ring to make a “tag book” of sorts, or they can be used in one of the Clear Scraps Memory-Dex boxes (the tall back boxes like the house) or of course, one of their tag boxes! You can find the Memory-Dex HERE and the Tags and Tag boxes HERE in the Clear Scraps Store!

This project starts with the Clear Scraps Acrylic Scallop #10 Tags and the Clear Scraps Acrylic Rounded Tags. One of my favorite ways to use the Clear Scraps acrylic tags is play with alcohol inks! There are so many bright, beautiful colors and you can sponge or apply them in different ways to create different patterns. Here I “pounced” over and over with blue, green and yellow inks using a felt pad. The best way is to just keep trying different techniques. On the green tag you can see a subtle border–that was created by having the felt pad wet with the green ink and dragging it around the edge after the tag was finished. Don’t be afraid to experiment with different methods and mediums–and to have fun!

The back of these tags are photo ready for all those memorable poses and events! These are super versatile–it could be a birthday, a wedding, a shower, a graduation, a girls trip, you name it!
One little extra tip–just remember to check the look of the tags as you place your papers front and back. Keep it simple and overlap basic shapes so nothing peeks through the clear tag front to back!
Thanks so much for stopping by today! Hope you enjoyed some inspiration, and that you are inspired to try some of the Clear Scraps Acrylic tags for yourself!
