Hello crafty friends! Jennifer here on the blog with this mini Affirmation Chipboard Album.

I truly believe that sharing words of affirmation not only makes someone else feel good, but also lifts your own spirit. Positive words are something we all need a little more of these days.
The first thing I did was cover each chipboard page, front and back, with the patterned base paper. Once everything was adhered, I used an X-Acto knife to trim around the edges for a nice, clean finish. Then I inked all of the page edges with black ink to add definition and give the album a finished look.

For the cover, I chose one of the patterned papers from the collection that already featured some words of affirmation. I embellished it with chipboard pieces, flowers, and ribbon to create a beautiful focal point.
Inside, I created two simple photo mats decorated with words of affirmation, ephemera pieces, ribbon, and a few flowers.

On the next two-page spread, I added another photo mat on the right-hand page. On the left, I created a side pocket that can hold photos, journaling cards, tags, or any special keepsakes you’d like to include.

For the final spread, I made one more photo mat and another pocket to hold journaling cards, photo mats, or tags. Pockets are a wonderful way to add extra storage and interactive elements to small mini albums.

To finish everything off, I threaded soft pink chiffon ribbon through the binding holes and tied it into a knot, giving the album a delicate finishing touch.
I hope this project has inspired you to create a mini album filled with encouraging words of affirmation for yourself or someone special.
Thanks so much for stopping by, and I’ll see you next time!
