Clear Scraps Project Post

Hi all, Rita Barakat here with a Clear Scraps Mixables album. This is a 6×12 chipboard and arylic album and it was so fun! I made this album to house pitures over the years that I love. The cover is actually acrylic and I was able to copy some of the patterns from the pattern paper onto the acrylic by outlining them with the Viva paint pens. After they dried I filled them in with Shimmerz paints.I cut out the bird and leaves,decorated them with Stickles and glued it onto the acrylic with Tombow Mono Mutli Liquid Glue.

 I covered this chipboard page with pattern paper using TombowMono Adhesive Dots.  I needed to use the glue to adhere the heart shaped gems and flowers.

 Here is the back side of the chipboard and a Hambly Screen print. On the right I have pictures back to back so the adhesive doesn't show but I have discovered that the vellum adhesive fromTombow truly is invisible – even on acrylic!

This is the back of the screen print and the right is chipboard. I sprayed the chipboard with Shimmerz and while it was wet used the GCD chip art tool to make those butterflies & words- it looks like leather. The hearts were already cut out in the album and I used pearls on the edges.

 I covered the back with pattern paper and there are some pockets behind the pictures for journaling tags. Here are some close ups…
