Most of you who are parents out there, will agree with me I'm sure, when I say that kids seem to grow like weeds. I'm never quite sure how they got so big and how the last year seemed to slip away so fast. For that reason, I love to do layouts of my kids at Christmastime. Actually – for several reasons. First – I love to document this season in their lives and have a record of how they looked and how big they were. Secondly, we usually get family photos done around this time of year anyway so it's really easy to incorporate that Christmas card photo into a layout. And thirdly, almost as easy as making myself a layout, is duplicating the same layout and making a quick & easy gift for grandparents or someone else who my kids don't see very often.
This is the photo I used on Christmas cards last Christmas (2009). I can't wait to get my photos back from the printer this year to see the changes in my kids side by side in my album.
