Clear Scraps Project Post

I know, I know… it still is a ways off, and we keep showing you Christmas! But why not, lol! No time like the present to get all your ornaments made, your gifts started… lol.

Here are some ornaments that I made for the CHA booth this year. If you were lucky enough to attend, did you see them there?

To create these, I covered them in alcohol ink, and the used a mask and some StazOn in opaque to create a frosted effect. I then outlined with some Stickles and added some gorgeous Prima flowers.

These ones were made using alocohol ink and the same method above, except – I outlined the mask using a Pearl Pen, and then I dripped silver alcohol mixatives into the ornaments. On the left (purple) I waited until the alcohol ink was dry… and on the right (teal) I dripped the mixative in while the alcohol was still very wet!

These final ornaments were still made with alcohol ink, but I added some book pages, rub-ons, and Pearl Pen for added oomph! On the left I made the dots, or pearls if you will… and on the right, I smooshed the pearl medium for a pretty dimensional effect.

What fun these were to make!
