Clear Scraps Project Post

Happy New Year everyone, Pinky here with a Clear Scraps layout today. 

I don't usually make pages for other people but this was a special occassion. A friend of mine who is a Cancer survivor asked me to make her a special page that would hold many photos. After thinking and sketching a few ideas I decided to go with a strong Clear Scraps 12X12 page as the base, then stitch all around it. 

I wanted the page to be strong and very special, what better was to make a special unique page then to use acrylic! If you look closely you can see I used my sewing machine to stitch all around. At the end of the post I will link a sewing video that shows just how to stitch through Clear Scraps acrylic.

I used a denim pocket to hold all the clippings and photos, adding vintage lace and MANY pearls with the Viva Decor Pearl Pens. Oh and the pocket is just a denim pocket from my son's old jeans….I have been saving it for a while now. 

I hope the page reflects that special love and is cherished for many years.
