Clear Scraps Project Post

Hello and happy new year everyone!!! Are we ready to put 2012 behind us now, perhaps not 🙂 but 2013 is a new year, new beginning, challenges and we pray and hope we are ready for what it has to offer and all! Let us welcome it with open hand and embrace it wholeheartedly.

And what a better way to start a new year, I feel so happy  and privileged to  have a first-hands- on on the newest Clear Scraps product for 2013. They're awesome and you are going to love it. Stay tuned all month long for products new release inspiration. :)!! And today I am super excited to share one of my projects.  Valentines day is just around the corner, so I created this huge appreciation to show off  my love :) Oh and can I just tell you how much I love the stencils, I can easily use this on all my projects….:)

How to:  Tape the stencil on the acrylic to keep it perfectly in place to produce a clean, crisp design. Spray paint and wait for it to dry; Carefully peel off the stencil; Now the fun part, apply several colors of alcohol ink on the exposed acrylic area; To finish off the look, trace and cut the acrylic heart image (base) onto a patterned paper for backing. The pattern on the paper peeking on the clear acrylic adds some interest on the design that I like.  (note: this process will be the back of the project/acrylic, the clean and smooth side is the front).
