Banners 12X2 Acrylic Layout

Hello friends! Jennifer here sharing one of the new acrylic layouts! I am a big fan of banners so I was excited to work with the Banners Acrylic 12×12 Layout!  This layout has space for larger photos or multiple smaller ones.

Before embellishing, I used alcohol ink in Mermaid to color my acrylic.  Honestly, I never know how much of the acrylic I'm going to cover when I'm creating my layout, so I color the entire layout. Alcohol ink is the best way to add color to your acrylic! It is solvent based that works with the non-porous surface as well as dries quickly!

I used different patterns with a hand punch as well as added in pennants behind my banner. And did you know you can stitch through Clear Scrap acrylic?  I used my sewing machine to secure my paper pieces!

For my upper banner, I adhered patterned papers to random pennants using Beacon 3-in-1 Craft Adhesive.  Then using scissors and a sanding tool, I removed excess paper to smooth out the look.
