Selfie Fun Star Layout by Pinky

Hey there friends, hopefully you are having fun this month creating with Clear Scraps, it's Pinky today with another ACRYLIC layout! If you love scrapbook pages, these are so fun and easy to create.

This page is the new design the Stars 12X12 Acrylic Layout it starts like this.

Then you peel off the film and go to town creating!

For this one I took the back of the layout and colored it with my Gelatos, but I didn't want them to smear off so after I did the Gelatos coloring and smudging, I took spray paint and coated over the Gelatos colorings, to seal it in. I used pastels because I am on a pastel kick and I didn't want to drown out the colors from the Gelatos.

After I spray painted I took some Beacon Zip Dry and I adhered the Stars 12X12 Acrylic Layout to an Echo Park Patterned paper, leaving the photo mattes without adhesive.

Now the reason I left the photo mattes without adhesive was so that I could slide my photos in easily, then I adhered them. Also I took the NEW Sequins from Clear Scraps and added them to a couple of the stars. I used the Lovely Sequins.

I also wanted more bling so I used gold glitter.

When I started scrapbooking it was very therapeutic for me and I used it to encourage myself, lately I have found myself back to scrapbooking as therapy, and trying to encourage myself to continue every day with positivity. Hopefully crafting has the same support for you!
