There’s nothing better than turning everyday crafting supplies into something meaningful for your home, and this month’s project might just be one of my favorites!
I created a sweet home decor piece using the Clear Scraps 3D Frameable Base with Square Frame along with the Word n Shape Woof-Bone, featuring a photo of my adorable pups.

To start, I covered both base pieces with a coordinating patterned paper. Once covered, I stacked and adhered them together to build the dimensional base of the frame.
Next, I focused on the frame itself. I covered it in a coordinating patterned paper, carefully trimmed the edges, and then sanded and inked everything to give it a soft, finished look with just the right amount of distressing.
For the bone element, I used white cardstock to cover the wood piece, trimmed it down, then sanded and inked the edges for a clean but slightly rustic finish.
The “Woof” word piece was my favorite part to customize! I colored the letters in a bold red and added black accents to the paw prints to make them pop.
Once everything was dry, I assembled the frame—and this is where the magic really happens. These Clear Scraps bases are incredibly easy to work with, and the pieces slide smoothly into the slots, making assembly quick and frustration-free.
I absolutely love how this turned out. It’s a simple project, but it holds so much heart—especially when filled with a photo of my sweet pups.
If you’ve been looking for an easy way to add personalized decor to your home, this is your sign! The Clear Scraps 3D Frameable Bases and Word n Shape pieces make it simple to build something meaningful, whether you’re showcasing pets, family photos, or seasonal memories.
Grab your favorite patterned papers and give it a try—you’ll be surprised how quickly it comes together!
