Add in an acrylic flower

Garden Girl(resize)
Today, I would like to share a layout which I've created using some Clear Scraps acrylic flower pieces with you all. I've used them with the beautiful papers by Bo Bunny.

Here's a close-up on it.

Here's how I've created these flowers.

1) Use an embossing machine and an embossing folder to emboss some images on the acrylic flower. (I've used Sizzix Big Shot)

2) Ink the embossed surfaces with white solvent ink. (ie. Tsukineko Staz On)

3) Use a heating tool and heat the acrylic flower to make it soft enough to change its shape using your hand. (Tip: Be careful as it might be a little hot)

4) When the flower is cool and the shape is set, outline it with some Stickles. Cut out some flowers from pattern papers and use them to layer on top of it or as flower centers.

This is a fast and simple technique. It's so fun and you can mold your acrylic flower pieces into any shape you want. Try it!

Supplies: Clear Scraps acrylic flowers; Cardstock and Pattern Papers: Bo Bunny; Inks: Ranger Ink, Tsukineko; Others: Glue Arts adhesives.
