Hi there everyone! Laura here with you and today is a great day to create indeed–especially when you can create using the Clear Scraps Shadow Box 6×6!

These fun boxes make cute decor easy! I like to paint all the pieces, and then assemble. For this box I chose black acrylic paint to give a sharp, clean “frame” look to this box. The background on the box, I cut a 5&3/4″ square of patterned paper and glued it to the back piece BEFORE I glued it all together.

The fun part was creating little “scenes” for each box. A little 2″x2″ mat and then square with a few stickers keeps things simple. Foam tape is always a great tool to use to create more texture and depth in a project like this.

Mixing ephemera pieces and enamel dots with the stickers also add pizzazz to a project like this. The smaller pieces that sometimes get lost on a scrapbook page are perfect for one of the shadow box projects!
Clear Scraps has many different sizes of these shadow boxes and they are super easy to glue together and then create! Check out all the different options in the Clear Scraps store HERE. You’ll find these fun to work with and there are so many ideas for decor (think holidays, baby, and of course craft room) and also they make great gifts!
Thanks so much for stopping by today! Stop back soon for more inspiration!
