“Vacation on the Beach.”Wave Mini Album

Hello Crafty Friends.

Today I have the “Vacation on the Beach “ Shaped Chipboard Mini album.

Clear_Scraps Shaped Albums are really special.

You will find many different shapes and sizes of Mini albums.

This one is a great size for holding pictures and or scrapbooking.

I have gone with a fun Beachy themed digital papers collection.

I first got my Wave_Shaped_Album and a really good wet glue to adhere paper to the front and back of each Page.

You can use Decoupage or your favorite glue for this.

Just make sure to be liberal so you will get the papers well adhered.

I went ahead and got all of my page’s glued and trimmed the sides.

I used Satin finish Mod Podge to cover the front and Back cover.

I painted Mod Podge on all of the Ephemera I wanted to use. Then I got my Crop a Dile to pick all the holes before gluing papers to the other side. Then punched the holes again.

I used paper gold hole tabs to reinforce the front and Back covers.

The Satin Mod Podge may be my newest favorite way to prep my papers.

Now I will finish all of my pages and finish adding pockets and elements.

The Paper Collection is 81/2”x11” so I will ink the edges to blend everything in.

I also used a Deckel cutter for a shabby edge finish.

I made acetate pockets so I could keep all of the beautiful images.

I use Bakers acetate and just cut the size I want to fit the page.

adding 1/2” to sides for glue tabs. I score 1/2” on three sides,fold them, use a bone folder to get a really good fold. Then I use my wet glue to adhere the pockets to my pages. I recommend Beacon 123 for adhering acetate to paper.

Tucks, Pockets and tags are my go to for scrapbooks and mini albums. Clustering a couple or few ephemera pieces together make a fun place to tuck memories.

I absolutely love This Clear_Scraps Chipboard_Shapes_Wave Album. It came out so beautifully. Glue and paper can become a magical way to keep memories and share them.

I’ve added a small charms dangle with a bulb pin. I have raided my crafty stash for trims. Added trim to the gold binder rings. Then I got out my favorite mixed media mediums and had some fun with all of the fussy cuts I Mod Podged. It was the best day. I am loving the teeny sand stones and flowers. Yellow ribbon for a bow.
