Good morning friends!
Today I wanted to share with you my Spring Mixables Album.
It comes mixed with acrylic and chipboard, and is a dream to work with.

I wanted to show some things we did this spring before the fun of summer hits.
For the cover I have stamped using Stazon ink in Cactus and Jet Black using my Rhonna Farrer swirls stamps. Remember those? I also used my Viva Decor Pearl Pen to outline the shape of the butterfly along the edge. I did this on all the acrylic pages.
This is the backside of the cover page.
For this chipboard page, I cut my photo down to 4×4 and adhered on the backside, and left the top hole open so you could see through to the next page.
To cover up the photo on the previous page, I used another photo. 🙂

More stamping on this acrylic page with Stazon. I also lightly used alcohol ink in areas to change the color of the acrylic. Since this page is see through completely, I adhered my photo to pattern paper, and on the backside of the photo, I added some stamping.

See the stamping on the backside of the photo?

This is another chipboard page, I covered it in pattern paper, sanded the edges, then added bling along the scallop edges. If your photos hang off the edge a bit, think about backing them with pattern paper before adhering in your album. You can create great visual interest with that technique alone.

Sidewalk chalk in the afternoon. 🙂

Add in some alcohol ink, an oversize doily, flowers, bling, and you have yourself a recipe for fun. I hope you've enjoyed looking at my Spring is in the air album. Creating mini albums is a great way to find things hiding in your stash you forgot all about. 🙂
Have a great day!
