Gothic wall Decor created with a Clear_Scraps Pumpkin_Shiplap_DIY.
Today I am sharing a Gothic Decor piece. I know there are quite a few Artists that enjoy doing mixed media and using a gothic aesthetic.
This Shiplap_Pumpkin is a wonderful palette for painting or adding textures.

Wood Shiplap decor is very sturdy but still lightweight for hanging.
First I will Use Mod Podge and paint the entire pumpkin then cover with the paper I chose.
I am using a digital paper and ephemera for today’s project.

After covering the surface of the pumpkin I used my crafter knife and removed the paper from the edges. Then covers the entire image with Mod Podge to seal it and , give it a beautiful portrait Finish.

I fussy cut the ephemera and also painted them with mod podge. The stencil is the Quarterfoil_Stencil also available here at the Clear_Scraps website.
I sprayed the. Background and Stenciling with some Micah spray to distress the piece and give it some more sheen.

I made flowers and grabbed some elements to enhance the background. I arranged all of my embellishments and popped them up with craft vine.

The sheer organza ribbon is a fun and a bit of a play on a ghostly appearance.

I finished with purple gemstones to add more bling and give the pops of magic this Magical Decor piece deserves.
I am over the moon with how this came out and hope you are inspired.
Have a Spooktacular rest of your day and see you soon with another Clear_Scraps project.
