Clear Scraps mini shaker rectangle tag
Check out this cute Clear Scraps mini shaker rectangle tag which can also double as a tree ornament. It is easier to make than you think.

For today’s project you will need the Clear Scraps mini shaker plaque, the Clear Scraps pine tree embellishments, red and green acrylic paint, various sequins, gold ribbon, foam brushes, and scissors.

Take the pine tree embellishments – they come with 2 different size trees, I used the smaller one last month on a project – and your scissors. Cut the pine tree from the frame. Use the green acrylic paint and foam brush to paint both sides of the tree.

Now take the shaker rectangle tag, the red paint and foam brush. Separate the pieces and using only the front and back pieces paint both sides of the back piece and the front side of the front frame.

While the paint is drying take the layers and glue them together. When the paint is dry, glue the layers to the back. Take the protective layer off of the front piece and glue the acrylic layer to the front.

When the glue is dry, cut a piece of ribbon and glue it to the top of the back forming a loop.

Take your variety of sequins and add them to the back of the tag.

Use a strip of gold and a small star punch to punch out 2 stars. Glue the 2 stars together back to back to give the star support.

Remove the protective cover from the back of the acrylic panel and glue it to the back making sure you have glue on all sides to seal the tag. Glue the tree to the right side of the frame using a strong glue. Use the same glue to glue the star to the top of the tree. Your tag is ready to attach to your gift.

This is an easy project and once the recipient opens the gift they can use the tag as a tree ornament. I hope you were inspired to make one yourself.
Have a Terrific Tuesday!
Robbie
