Hello there everyone! Laura here with you today, sharing a fun way to remember a special occasion!

To create this tag box, I started with the Clear Scraps House Memory-Dex Box. Even tho it is meant for the memory-dex cards, you can see it’s a great fit for the tags too!

The box was painted with white acrylic paint, then brushed with a soft blue paint to give it a distressed look. A paper border was added around the bottom using some patterned papers inked with a green distress ink. Stickers are foam taped to the front to create a little interesting touch.

The same border continues around the side of the box, with enamel dots added to each end of the strip. A journal card is foam taped to a cardstock mat and a sticker embellishment added to the corner. If you look carefully–I did go ahead and paint and glue in the Memory-Dex piece that holds the dowel rods in the back/bottom, just in case I decide to switch it up later!

Since this may go on a table top for display–wanted to make sure I had some fun elements on the back as well. I kept the “house” portion just white acrylic and then added more of the pretty paper and stickers. Just a sweet little finishing touch so it looks good from all sides!
Thanks so much for stopping by today! You can find all the different Memory-Dex boxes to use for memory-dex, or this tall one as a tag box HERE! Examples of the tags are available in other blog posts (and more to come!), so make sure to check that out too!
