Fall Inspired Banner

Hello Crafty Friends – Annie here with a Fall inspired banner featuring the Interchangable Banner Set. This banner is perfect for any occassion. I wanted to make a fall theme for my daughter, She loves mushroom and fall flowers.

Supplies Used:

Interchangable Banner Wood Set 5pcs

Plaid Paints: Green Olive, Goldenrod Yellow & Metallic Gold

Recollections Colors of Autumn 12×12 Paper

Various Cardstocks

Mod Podge

Velcro Dots

Dies: Flower & Mushroom

Jute Twine: Green

Tools: Hole Punch, Paint Brushes, Paper Towels

Let Get Started!

Step 1: I start by tracing two of the banner pieces onto pattern paper. I trace the banner twice onto the mushroom paper and then twice onto the Floral pattern paper.

Next, I trim the trace banner out, and punch the hole were i marked on the papers.

Step 2: I paint the sides of the all the banner pieces with Green Olive paint.

Once the sides are dry I paint 3 of the banner with the Goldenrod Yellow paint and set them aside to dry. Once the first side is dry I repeat it on the other side.

Step 3: I adhere the pattern paper to the other 2 banner pieces. I adhere the mushroom paper one side and the floral to the other side using Mod Podge. I did this so she could flip the the banner every so often for a different feel. I made sure to put some Mod Podge on top to seal the paper.

I painted the outer circle with Metallic Gold Paint.

Step 4: I adhered a bit of pattern paper to the circle. I used one with little berries and gold foil leaves. This with where I will add some die cut pieces. I created a flower and mushroom from die cut cardstsock.

Step 5: I adhered the mushroom and flower to the circle using som Velcro tabs. This way she can change them out. I did the same to the center circle. I first adhered the inner circle to the outer circle ring. I then place velrco to the back of the circle for easy replacement. Next, I strung the banner with some jute twine alternating the banner piece painted and papered.

Now the banenr is complete!
